The flaming in the sides matches well to the back, but bending this stuff without it delaminating along the curled grain is not a matter to be undertaken by the faint of heart. I hand bend this wood on a pipe, being better able to sense the wood's readiness to bend properly than when machine bending. Until very recently, I've hand bent all my sides and binding on a hot pipe.
