Wonderfully silked quartersawn Honduran Mahogany back and sides. Backstrip is Red Oak flanked with B/W/B bold purfling, in keeping with the rest of the body. The purfling is not mitered at the heel and tail of the body on this instrument, something I do as a standard now.
